NOTES:
Lyrics are presented in a crossword, comic or magazine form. This links to the overall concept of the video, of what you'd typically find in a magazine. This as demonstrates hyper-realism as the girl "comes to life". The editing used helps illustrate the relationship between music and visual, as the turning of pages speeds up in time with the music, or altogether closes when the music stops. A guitar solo is also featured, proving that Charlotte can actually play her instruments. Lip syncing is also used. The video itself does not fit a stereotypical genre. The video takes the ideology of a pop artist and music and makes it comical. Being ironic. However the girl herself has a rock look. Alternative Pop. Shots of bars and alcohol are used, this establishes her age. We believe the audience is teen girls who are insecure and experimenting with their identity.

We did this short task to revise our analytical skills and our knowledge of Goodwin's theory.
